Messy Church at the Baptist Assembly

We are excited to launch the registration for our Messy Church @ Baptist Assembly in Scotland to be held on Saturday 1st November in Motherwell from 10am - 1pm.

The Messy Church will be part of our Super Saturday events and will run in tandem with our main Assembly sessions. This will be a great opportunity for people of all ages but particularly families to get together to have fun and worship God in creative ways. You can bring your own lunch and join in the picnic at lunchtime too!

Please do make your congregation aware of this free event which can be booked here:

Please note as this is a family event, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Prayer Points

Prayer Points 12th October 2014.

Give thanks to God, for Jesus, our Saviour. His love endures forever.

Our Monday morning Cafe of Hope, that the folks who came, will find real and true Hope, in Jesus Christ.

Give thanks for this year’s Blythswood Shoebox Appeal.

Pray that the recipients will not only treasure the gifts that they receive, but that The Word – His Word enclosed, will bring them, true hope, assurance, and encouragement, in the days that lie ahead.

Week’s Thought:- ………on Communion Time in Church

Lord, when we observe the Lord’s Supper,
help us avoid the trap of letting our observance grow routine.
May we always be moved with gratitude,
for the wonderful gift of ritual.
Any ritual can lose meaning,
But that does not make the ritual meaningless.
